Sympac Go in the Google Play store

Sympac Go is now available in the Google Play store.

If you have a Honeywell device that is managed for you – these instructions do not apply.

If you have Sympac Go manually installed on your device you will need to follow these steps to have the Google Play store version installed so that you receive future updates:

  1. Un-install Sympac Go – this can be done by holding down on the icon and then selecting ‘Uninstall’
  2.  Follow the below instructions to deregister your devices, and then register them using the new app

Step 1. Open the Sympac Go setup program

From the main Sympac windows click on “Utilities, Help and Support”, then “Sympac Go” and finally “Setup”

Click yes when prompted to allow access.

Step 2. Deregister the device(s)

In the configuration program find the devices table, from that table click the “Deregister” button for any devices you wish to deregister.

If  the device is a child device it will show with a green background, this device will need to be deregistered using the same process from the parent location as well.

Once the devices are deregistered you can then register devices using the details at the bottom of the configuration page.

Note – If your are licensed under a group agreement, you will need to use the Parent Code, and Parent Password  for the registration.
