Software Release Update

Software Update Notice for Version: 8.00.11

Scheduled Release 25 April 2023

We will be releasing a software update for our product in the coming days.  This update includes several improvements and new features that will enhance your user experience.  Read the notice below to find out about the key updates that come with this release and what actions, if any, you need to do as part of this update.

Key updates in this release

Point Of Sale

  • Creating cash customers in POS will no longer fill the ABN number with an “R”
  • Running the batch reprint on systems using the new print system will no longer revert to the internal print system
  • The reason code entry that occurs during the update process when selling a product at
    0.00 will no longer occur
  • The credit limit check a the end of the document now shows the correct warning text
  • Processing SLYP transactions no longer causes POS to exit incorrectly

Till System

  • Tender types can now be disabled on a terminal basis, this can be set up in the POS Options, and can be defined as disabled for either POS or Debtor Receipting
  • The Bank Drop process will now create a separate clearance for Cheques if they are counted

Purchase Ordering

  • The P/O print process now updates the header email status flag which reports on the P/O summary, also the additional user prompt no longer occurs

  • Inwards goods will no longer update the average cost for “%” products when setup to use the GL Link method

Products

  • Stock Take Entry will update the Bin Location if a new Bin Location is entered.

Creditors

  • New import/export options has been added to the Supplier Invoice Batch process

SVOS

  • Products are now allowed to have a zero buy cost, even with the latest cost has a value

System

  • An intermittent error 216 has been corrected when closing programs.

What you need to do

  • Once the update is downloaded and installed on your PC, you will need to restart your computer to ensure that all changes take effect.

  • We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however rest assured that the restart will only take a few minutes.
