Software Upgrade Notice

Scheduled Software Update Information for late March 2024

We will be releasing a software upgrade for our product in the coming days.  This update includes several improvements and new features that will enhance your user experience.  Read the notice below to find out about the key updates that come with this release and what actions, if any, you need to do as part of this update.

Key updates in this release

Point of Sale

  • Processing receipts with the simple Unallocated receipts interface, and pressing ESC or clicking “X” to close the customer search window – will no longer allow you to save the receipt against a blank debtor account

Creditors

  • The Create creditor bank file process will again default the branch filter to all locations 

Payroll

  • Emailed payslips who are set up with no password will not have their PDF file zipped up as an attachment.

System

  • All scan windows that load all details by default will no longer show the filter options by default, to replace this the “Full Load” button has been replaced with a Show/Hide filters button
  • When showing filters, pressing enter on the first row of scan windows that are in full load mode will now work

What you need to do

  • Once the update is downloaded and installed on your PC, you will need to restart your computer to ensure that all changes take effect.

  • We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however rest assured that the restart will only take a few minutes.
