EOFY in Sympac!
It’s EOFY time so we've prepared a few micro eLearning lessons and handy how to's so that the process run smoothly!
This important EOFY communication contains information on running EOFY in sympac, running your Last Payroll for the year, Annual Stocktakes as well as information of the Super Guarantee rate rise! Please make sure to read this communication carefully.
Introducing EOFY Courses in symlearning!
Now that we have launched symlearning (Sympac’s new eLearning Platform), we’ve created some handy microlearning lessons that specifically cover the key EOFY processes.
Our EOFY suite of courses cover the following:
- Annual Stocktakes
- Last Payroll Batch for the EOFY
- Steps by step tutorials and videos for running EOFY – including if your store doesn’t trade on the day EOFY falls (ie. in 2024 the EOFY 30 June ends on a Sunday)
We’ve also created a full course on EOFY which takes you through the process in more depth.
If you haven’t yet registered for symlearning we highly recommend that you do as our training platform provides access to a range of microlearning and full courses that will also be very helpful for EOFY. Specifically our EOD Basic Course, EOD/EOM Advanced Course and our Stocktake Courses.

Super Guarantee Alert for 1st July
From 1st July 2024 the Super Guarantee rate will rise to 11.5%. Here’s what you need to know in order to update your sympac system!
From July 1, eligible workers will start to receive higher contributions from their employers as the latest increase to the superannuation guarantee kicks in. This new rate lifts the existing rate from 11% up to 11.5% for the 2024-25 financial year.

This video is a guide only to show you the process to use in the sympac system. Remember the new rate is 11.5% and is effective from July 1st 2024.
EOFY Afterhours Monitoring
Sympac staff will be proactively monitoring stores to ensure the EOFY process has been completed successfully.
If we identify an issue with your EOFY process, we will access your system via Splashtop to investigate and take corrective action where required.
